Hands-on support for servers, networks, databases, and virtualized environments. I also build with C# / .NET and analyze data in SQL, Power BI, and Python. I troubleshoot problems, configure systems correctly, and keep infrastructure stable and secure.
01 / Profile
I provide hands-on IT support and system administration for servers, networks, databases, and virtualized environments. The work is practical: find the fault, change only what needs changing, test the result, and explain it clearly.
I like clearly defined technical problems — a server that will not boot, a VLAN that cannot talk, a database that needs a clean restore, a Docker stack that will not start, or a dataset that needs a clear answer. I take time to understand the problem before I touch production.
02 / Capabilities
Windows and Linux server setup and troubleshooting. Ubuntu administration and remote support.
Proxmox VE, virtual machine management, snapshots, and hardware-level troubleshooting.
MikroTik routers, managed switches, VLAN, DHCP, NAT, firewall, routing, DNS, and segmentation.
SSH and Tailscale administration. Connectivity and remote access troubleshooting.
MySQL / SQL setup, users, backups, restores, and day-to-day troubleshooting.
Nginx, domains, SSL/TLS, Docker Compose, plus Git and GitHub deployment workflows.
ASP.NET Core APIs, configuration, health checks, and deploying .NET apps behind a reverse proxy.
SQL queries, Power BI dashboards, and Python EDA — sales KPIs, trends, and clear findings.
03 / Work samples
These are my own projects. They are not Upwork client jobs.

04 / Sample labs
These are homelab runbooks I use to keep the skills sharp. They are labeled as samples so they are never mistaken for paid work history.
Sample lab
LAB-01
Stand up a Proxmox host, create Linux and Windows VMs, snapshot before changes, and test a backup restore path.
Sample lab
LAB-02
Split a small network into VLANs with DHCP, NAT, and a firewall that only allows the paths that should exist.
Sample lab
LAB-03
Put a service behind Nginx with a real hostname, reverse proxy, and TLS certificates that renew cleanly.
Sample lab
LAB-04
Install MySQL, lock down users, take a dump, break a table on purpose, and restore it from backup.

06 / Approach
Collect symptoms, recent changes, and the expected state before changing anything.
Prefer reversible steps: snapshots, backups, one change at a time.
Confirm the original issue is gone and that related services still work.
Leave a clear note of what failed, what was done, and what to watch next.
07 / Contact
If you have an IT, server, network, Docker, C# / .NET, SQL, or Power BI issue, include what is broken, what you already tried, and any logs or screenshots.
